This client can even learn custom commands. Standard client features exist like drag-and-drop support, Quick Connect (to frequently used, saved sites), it allows you to upload and download simultaniously and features scheduled bandwidth throttling controls. One major plus is FileZilla caches directories which increases browsing speeds and saves a lot of time. The interface takes a little getting used to, but if you're familiar with FlashFXP or CuteFTP, it should take little to no time to know your way around. It comes jam-packed with the most important features and is supported by an open-source oriented developer community. Fully-featured and free FTP client with Site Manager supporting secure connections, SFTP, SSH and a dual-panel interface for fast and reliable file transfers.įileZilla is absolutely the best freeware FTP program available, not to mention perhaps one of the best overall rivaling commercial clients like CuteFTP or FlashFXP.
